Minimum Wage Exemptions in Ontario in 2021

  • Students who are under 18 years old and work less than 28 hours weekly
  • Liquor servers
  • Homeworkers

The above-mentioned individuals receive $13.40, $12.45, and $15.70 minimum wage per hour. Experts believe that the estimated 1% increase in the minimum wage in Ontario will also be valid for them. This will increase their minimum wages to $13.55, $12.55, and $15.85, on average.
